2011 Johnny Romano Skate Jam

Johnny Romano was an inspiration to skater’s the world over. His life was cut short after a 3 year battle with leukemia, but his passion for skateboarding helped him maintain a positive outlook all the way through. Through the Make-A-Wish foundation, Johnny was able to attend The Texas Skate Jam for Make-A-Wish. After his death in 2008, the event was renamed the Johnny Romano Skate Jam, with 100% of all proceeds still being donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Gulf Coast and Louisiana. Through this event skateboarders have helped raise over half a million dollars for Make-A-Wish.
